Toulouse have retained the services of winger Kuni Minga and hooker Mourad Kriouache for next season.
Minga had an injury hit 2017, and only played 18 times for the French side last season, however in those 18 games, he scored 19 tries, making him the club’s third best try scorer throughout the year.
On him singing a new contract at the club Minga said: “I’m very happy to stay at TO. I am looking forward to the new season, I will give everything to bring success to the team.”
Meanwhile hooker Kriouache played 22 times for Toulouse last year, scoring four tries, and he is hoping to improve that record next year.
On his new deal, he commented: “I’m happy to continue playing for my club, I cannot wait for the competition to start, and for us to try and get in the Top 4 and thus prove that the TO has its place among the best clubs in Europe.”
On the two players commiting their futures to the club, Toulouse president, Bernard Sarrazain was pleased to see both players deciding to stay.
Sarrazain said: “Kuni is a spectacular player, able to raise the crowd on a single action, he can score from anywhere in the field. A player like that, we prefer to have with us than against us, and so it’s great to retain him.
“Mourad is a special player in the squad, because of his seniority in this club, he is one of the emblematic figures of Toulouse Olympique, and we hope that he will be here for a long time.”
